Why the area you live in actually changes things
It is not just a delivery fee. How far you live from the cattery decides how many times you will realistically see your kitten before it comes home, and that is the single biggest difference between buying well and buying on faith.
Inside greater Houston, the normal pattern is three visits: choose at around five weeks, drop in at eight, collect when Canan says that particular kitten is ready. From Dallas, Austin or San Antonio it is usually one video call, one visit if you want it, then hand delivery. Both work. They just need planning differently, which is why each page below says what to expect rather than repeating the same sales copy with the city name swapped out.
What does not change with distance: every kitten is TICA registered, leaves with a veterinary health certificate and a written one-year genetic health guarantee, and travels either in a car with Canan or in the cabin with a pet nanny. We do not put cats in cargo, at any distance.

- Meet Canan and the kitten's parents in person. Appointments run seven days a week in northwest Houston.
- Texas ground delivery
- Hand delivery by car to Austin, Dallas–Fort Worth, San Antonio, College Station and the whole Gulf Coast.
- Flight nanny, nationwide
- Your kitten flies in-cabin on the lap of a professional pet nanny and is handed to you at your arrival gate.
- International placement
- Canan has placed cats with families and breeders across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Ask about paperwork.

Collect at the cattery. Cypress families are close enough to visit several times before homecoming, which we encourage.

Come and collect in person. Most Katy families visit two or three times before homecoming.

About 45–60 minutes, cross-town via Beltway 8
Pickup at the cattery, or ask about meeting partway. Most Pearland families visit once to choose and once to collect.

Hand delivery by car is straightforward from Houston. Most Austin families pick a Saturday and we bring the kitten to them.

Canan drives your kitten to you personally, or you make the trip down to Houston to meet the parents. Most Dallas families choose delivery.

About 4–4.5 hours by car from Houston
Ground delivery to your door, usually on the same run as a Dallas handover. Pickup in Houston is welcome if you'd rather see the cattery.

Ground delivery along I-10, usually combined with an Austin run. Pickup in Houston is equally welcome.

Kittens fly in-cabin with a professional pet nanny who hands yours to you at your arrival gate. Canan has also placed cats with families and breeders internationally — ask early if that is you, because rabies timing and import permits can take months in some countries.
